Welcome to the Orange Art Association...
The Orange Art Association was established in 1970 as a non-profit
corporation. The primary goals of our Association are to foster a better
understanding of fine art by the public, to encourage students to pursue art
as a career through our scholarship program and to continually challenge
our members to strive for excellence and fulfillment.
This website gives you easy access online to news, events and the
newest art from our member artists. The artists invite you to enjoy their
work and connect with them via their galleries, email, events and shows.

President's Message for May
Hello Members,
Hopefully all of you are creating new artwork for the upcoming summer
competitions such as the Orange County Fair and of course, our own
Orange Open. We will be adding a separate Photography show to this
year’s Orange Open. Yes, all of the photographers will have their own
show with several categories and their own judge! Here’s the
catch….we need help from photographers to make the show a success.
We need your input. Please come to our next meeting with your ideas.
Looking for art products and information? Check out our new and
improved website for links to suppliers and other art related links. Contact
Fawn our webmaster if you would like to have your artwork displayed on
our website. You do not need to have your own website to do this!
Don’t forget we will be voting in new Board members for 2009 at our
next meeting on May 12, 2008. Please contact me if you are interested in
any of the positions available. No experience necessary! We are looking
for energetic, fun, creative artists who play well with others! The current
Board members will help you ease into your position for January 2009.
Thanks to all of you for making Orange Art Association one of the best
art organizations in Orange County!
